Lake James Landing in Marion, North Carolina, has been my cherished second home for the past four years. This small campground, nestled right by Lake James, fosters a close-knit community where everyone feels like family.

Hurricane Helene's Impact

On September 27th, Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on our beloved campground, leaving destruction that’s hard to fathom. Unless you’ve experienced it firsthand, the devastation seems almost unreal. Since the storm, the community has united, helping one another sift through the rubble and locate belongings, showing incredible resilience even in the face of their own losses.

Support for Debra and Toby

Debra and Toby, who have been part of our community long before the storm, are navigating this disaster daily. Inspired by their strength, I wanted to create something special for them. This effort has sparked interest from others in our community, leading to the decision to offer shirts for all members of the LJL family who would like one.

Shirt Details and Donations

The shirts will be available in Navy or Black Gildan Unisex Heavy Cotton. Importantly, I do not intend to profit from this tragedy; all proceeds from the shirt sales will be donated to support our community’s recovery efforts.
